Ugh, MeeYou! What a mess. It looks like someone threw up all the colors of the rainbow and decided to call it a design. The bright blues, pinks, oranges and yellows are enough to give you an instant headache – not exactly what I’m looking for in a dating site!

Navigating around is confusing at best; there’s no clear way of getting from one page to another without stumbling across something else first that takes you off track completely – if only they had taken some time out on user experience (UX) design here then maybe things would be different? Let’s start with their free features – or lack thereof. You can create an account for free but you won’t be able to do much else without shelling out money for one of their paid plans. The only thing you can do is browse profiles which isn’t really enough if you want to find someone special online; plus, they don’t even let users upload photos on the free plan so how are people supposed to get a good sense of who they’re talking too? It’s like shooting in the dark!
Moving onto their paid options: there are three different tiers available depending on what type of user experience you’re looking for (basic, premium and elite). But honestly I’m not sure why anyone would pay extra when all these packages offer pretty much identical services – sending messages/winks/likes etc., setting up profile filters and seeing who viewed your profile… yawn…it feels like we’ve seen this before somewhere else doesn’t it? Plus none of them come with any real extras such as video chat or audio messaging capabilities which have become quite popular among modern daters nowadays.
And then there’s those “unique" features that MeeYou boasts about…. Well here comes another eye-roll because all I see is stuff that everyone already knows about: safety tips & advice articles written by experts blah blah blah…. yawn So yeah overall nothing particularly exciting going on at this dating site unfortunately – just your standard fare offerings across both its free & paid plans..
